HARRY Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is set to be the biggest blockbuster of the year — but the flick has lost what would have been its most popular moment.

Lead man Eddie Redmayne has revealed that his topless scene has been cut from the movie, despite him spending months buffing up under author JK Rowling’s orders.

In an exclusive interview, the Oscar-winner said: “I had to flipping work out for seven months because there was a scene – which is tragically no longer in the film – in which Jo was like, ‘I want you take off his tarp and see that he has been bitten and has all these war wounds and, even though he looks like this, is actually ripped.

“I got to that scene and thought, ‘Oh great.’

“So I did months and months of training and now it’s cut from the film, which is probably a better thing for the world.”

That’s definitely doubtful.

However, for Eddie, who plays Newt Scamander, there was one thing that gave him more dread than stripping off… choosing his wand.

The actor explained: “It’s weird because you feel like a nine-year-old. At the beginning they asked me to pick a wand.

“I felt like a kid experiencing the greatest moment of my life, but I also got complete stage fright.”

There is just over one month to go until Fantastic Beasts hits the big-screen on November 18, with my official countdown kicking off today.

Eddie keeping his clothes on won’t keep fans away.
