HARRY Potter fans were given a real treat when the stars of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald stepped out for the film’s London premiere.
JK Rowling, Eddie Redmayne and Zoe Kravitz braved the chilly air to walk the red carpet in the capital this evening.
The trio were joined by other stars from the film including Johnny Depp, Jude Law, Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, and Callum Turner for the screening at Cineworld in Leicester Square.
The film, directed by David Yates, sees the peace between the wizarding and the non-wizarding worlds in jeopardy as Grindelwald (Depp) plans to raise pure-blood wizards up to rule over all non-magical beings.
Dumbledore (Law) and Scamander (Redmayne) must thwart his plans as the wizarding world becomes increasingly divided.
The cast looked on fine form as they joked around on the red carpet and signed autographs for fans.
Ezra Miller, who’s recent red carpet outfits have caused quite a stir, also didn’t disappoint as he stepped out in an eccentric all-white feathered ensemble, complete with chalky white spiked up locks.
The actor, who plays Credence Barebone in the film, also displayed his palms which had “Avada Kedavra” written on it multiple times – a killing spell that is cast in Harry Potter.
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald will be released in the UK on Friday (November 16, 2018).
The second film comes almost two years after the release of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
The movie is produced by Heyday Films and distributed by Warner Bros.
It is directed by David Yates with the screenplay by J.K Rowling and runs for 2 hours 13 mins.
