EZRA Miller stole the show in a bizarre black quilt-style coat to the premiere of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.
Ensuring all eyes were on him the 26-year-old star, who plays Credence Barebone in the movie, teamed his high-shine vinyl attire with black leather gloves and a dark red lipstick.
Fans of the series flooded to Twitter to comment on the quirky star’s Moncler x Pierpaolo Picciolito outfit.
One wrote: “Ezra Miller is slayin’ the #FantasticBeasts : The Crimes of Grindelwald premiere tonight…”
While another compared the look to something out of Dr Who, writing: “Fantastic beasts premiere in Paris, Oo I’ll be on the red carpet, I know, I’ll dress like a Dalek!”
This isn’t the first time Ezra has turned heads with his quirky style.
When attending San Diego Comic-Con earlier this year, he dressed up as a sexy Toadette.
Sitting on the Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald panel event, the flamboyant actor wore a skimpy pink outfit, complete with a giant mushroom head.
The star stated in an interview with ES Magazine that he’d been judged on his choice of clothing before on multiple occasions.
He said: “I’ve been physically attacked in public for wearing short floral overalls.”
Cutting a safer sartorial look was Eddie Redmayne, was also in attendance with his stunning wife, Hannah.
Reprising his role as magizoologist Newt Scamander, the lead actor wore a smart grey suit with a deep red tie and tailored camel-coloured coat.
Hannah, perhaps in a nod to Redmayne’s creature-loving character, wore a black, structured dress featuring monochromatic butterflies down the middle.
Created with a fluffy, feather-like fabric, the delicate motifs appeared to flutter as the beautiful couple made their way along the red carpet.
Redmayne praised the film’s “extraordinary thriller quality” as he joined Ezra and fellow cast members Jude Law and Zoë Kravitz for the premiere.
The Oscar-winning actor teased that the new movie also has “joy and romance” bound up in it.
Fans of the Harry Potter spin-off took to Twitter to beg lucky attendees not to divulge any of the secrets before the film is released on Thursday 19 November.
The film is a prequel to the Harry Potter series and explores the lives and relationship of Albus Dumbledore, played by Jude Law, and his arch nemesis, Gellert Grindlewald, played by Johnny Depp.
Fans of the film are excited to find out the backstory of Newt Salamander and Zoë’s character Leta Lestrange.
Potterheads will recognise the name Lestrange as a family that featured heavily in the wizarding series.
Zoë looked every inch the Hollywood star wearing a black sequin dress with a huge red sequin bow.
Both she and Karl were dressed in Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello.
Law looked dapper in a azure blue velvet tuxedo jacket and light-coloured trousers.
Law hinted that fans of the Harry Potter franchise will be especially invested in the latest film because of the “two worlds suddenly linking”.
In a red carpet interview, the actor said: “I felt an incredible pressure to the wizarding world but it’s a wonderful character to work on. Lots of layers.
“We get to see how Dumbledore deals with his backstory. I got to go back and layer up his complexities.
“I worked a little bit on my magic only to be told that the magic was done by other people!”
The final trailer for the film arrived last month and gave fans their final taster of Law and Redmayne’s characters taking on Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald, played by Johnny Depp who did not attend the premiere.
After Paris, the stars will be out in force in London on Tuesday ahead of the film’s release on Thursday November 16.
